I have used some of the client’s own fabric in the this picture to make it uniquely special.
The client asked for reds and autumnal colours to be incorporated into this free interpretation. I had no idea what I was going to do until I was driving to a Patchwork shop for fabric!
Inspired by a pot of these beautiful flowers my stitched picture is an impression of them.
Today I have had fun playing with pretty colours to make a bluebell picture.
And it’s finished! What do you think?
Couldn’t resist stitching in the garden too- the chair is progressing!
Time to stop fiddling with the chair and enjoy the sunshine!
Here’s the pinned beginning of my 17thC chair at NT Chastleton House.
This is going to be my next project – a 17th Century chair at NT Chastleton House – the carving will be challenging!
I will post bits and pieces about my work in progress here. Stay tuned!
