Hello
I hope this finds you well and that you have enjoyed the recent lovely Spring weather. The year is flying by and as well as taking part in various exhibitions, I am thrilled to be able to tell you that I shall be on the television in June in an episode of a programme called ‘Junk Rescue’ to be aired on CBeebies. It was filmed last Summer but I’ve had to keep it secret until now. I don’t have an exact date yet but you will be able to find details on my website when they become available.

I have been learning about new technology so that I can produce short videos of my working process. This has been extremely challenging from understanding how to set up a tripod (I am not at all practical!) to thinking what might be engaging and how to present (remembering the words) my art. Social media is a wonderful tool to use both for sharing my artwork and for chatting to other people, who are interested in textile art. Through this I have been approached to not only be in the TV programme (see above) but also to feature in magazines distributed nationally and on-line internationally.
